All puzzle productions are based on blueprints, which are sets of instructions for the compilation of a puzzle. The blueprints contain all the information - from the puzzle type to the size and design.
Blueprints can be modified, copied, deleted or cloned as you like. New blueprints have the usual settings (modifiable). All modifications are saved automatically when CWG is shut down.
Puzzle Assistant
For puzzles usually printed in newspapers CWG offers a puzzle assistant, which leads the user in six steps to the generation of puzzles needed for a week, month or year.
Individual Puzzles - Really Easy From the blueprint to the ready-to-publish puzzle it is a very simple step. In the always visible blueprints selection the desired blueprint is chosen by a single mouse click and then the production button has to be activated. That's all.

Total Automation CWG creates the puzzle structure automatically (with space for advertising if you like), the puzzle itself, integrates a prize game on demand, displays the puzzle on the monitor, exports the puzzle in the desired file format and - if required - prints the puzzle automatically. Theoretically a higher grade of automation is not possible.
Simplicity of Use This extreme grade of automation has two decisive advantages. Because the users do not have to do anything manually, they have to learn very little, and cannot possibly commit any errors. This means that a puzzle production for a whole year is literally child's play.
The Principle of CrossWordGenius The extreme grade of automation does not mean that the user cannot influence the output of the puzzle production. Almost everything - size and design, difficulty level, regional content or the shape of the puzzle - can be controlled by the user. The point is: the user CAN do it, but does NOT HAVE to do it - the principle of CrossWordGenius.
