Arrowwords - a.k.a. Pencil Pointers - are the most universally popular types of puzzles. The decisive advantage of this puzzle group is that the clues are in the puzzle. The tiresome search for the right squares is unnecessary.
The following example enlarges a clue field with a “magnifier” because the monitor font size is too small to show the precision of the setting technology.
The maximum number of text lines per clue square determines the font size significantly. There is the option to limit this maximum number of lines from 1 - 6 lines. Therefore for every different puzzle, you can select this useful adjustment: e.g. 2 lines for Scrambled Arrowwords, 3 lines for Big Letter Arrowwords or 4 lines for Standard Arrowwords etc.
All Arrowwords are available in almost every shape.
All puzzles of this category deal with letters. There are another two similar types of puzzles: Cross Sums and Syllable Pointer.
The integration of the solution of a previous puzzle is optional (see top). This is useful especially for newspapers.
Arrowwords are available in several different languages (German, French, Italian, etc.).
